Question Subaru S4

Yesterday I looked around in my "video-games box" and what did I find?
Gran Turismo 2 for the Playstation one + an old memory card.
I put the game in, loaded an old game and then I did a testdrive
with the "Subaru S4". Same style like the SVX (there is also an SVX '95 included in this game) but horsepower 280.
I know that I have never made mods on this car in the game.
Is this just a powered up SVX for the game or does such a S4 exist in real life?

By the way it was fun to cruise around in a video game, but nothing compared to drive in my "real" SVX

One of our new members bought an SVX recently based on seeing it in that video game. I have to get me one of those. Maybe I can convince my kids that they need it also and buy it.

I believe there was an S4 in the JD market, but, it was standard 230 HP. Must have just been a "tweak" for the game. Check Jamsvx's website for details on the S4.

S4 is the car that came with the chromed front end in the JDM SVX. They have different rims (which I think is ugly IMHO). The car is exect identical to the regular SVX. JDM SVXes were named SVX S2, S3, S4s etc.

Any of you guys have a mac? If so, I can hook you up with a playstation 1 emulater. It works AWESOME. Basically, you install it, and then restart. Now, all you do is open up your CD rom drive, pop in a playstation game, and BAM, it starts working. The requirements aren't too high either, I think it works on a 233 mhz G3 or above, but I ran it on a 333mhz G3. It work awesome, especially considering your memory cards are as big as you need them to be, and when paired with a MacAlly iShock USB PSX looking controller.

If you have a PC you can also do that. It's called BLEEM, I think some stores sell it, the early versions werent very good but the latest versions seem to be alright, you do need a 3d graphics card though. Hey how about a shameless plug?Infotech Heh, if you see anything that you like I can get you a 3% discount.

Look the the rims, and the front grill. Compare that to a 97 US spec. SVX.

Am I wrong or does the spoiler on that resemble the prototype spoiler? Maybe a way to get that spoiler for our svx?

The spoiler shown is the JDM 'high type' spoiler, doesn't really resemble the prototype.

My last check with the Subaru dealer indicated that it was 'sold out' and thus no longer available new.
