Car and Driver

I was reading Car and Driver today and the SVX was mentioned. If anybody cares, its on page 11 of the August issue (theres a 350Z on the cover). The article is about great cars with not enough sales success.

Yep....

They always did have a soft spot for our little beauties...

It was either them or Road and Track that had the SVX as one of the better buys for under $10k a few years back. They actually mentioned the frequent tranny problems!

I also have the '92 Road and Track SVX magazine. A whole magazine dedicated w/o advertising to the SVX. Has a pic of a turbo version, and a 3.3l shoehorned into a widebody XT6. Good stuff.

If you look and read closely, the "Turbo" version is actually the clay model.

Wink

Regarding the article. I have a friend of a friend who's Audi A8 went through two trannys before it hit 50K. Hmmmm.... This from a 72 year old "sprightly" driver. He traded it for an Acura something.

Ron.

Yeah didn't look at it in depth yet. Figured it was something like that.
