It's funny that you mention Nissan in the same phrase as transmission......... When we had the CVT done in my Mother-in-law's Nissan Micra/March here in UK I spoke to the guy about "our" trans. At the time he said "Yeah they are the same inside as the one on a Nissan 200SX........" and I didn't really think too much about that.

Over here most Nissan 200SX's (which are a turbocharged 2ltr sport coupe here) would have manual's, but over your side of the water there are probably loads of auto 200SX's with trick mods to improve the performance/lifespan/what-ever.

Any thoughts ?? Anybody else admit to having Nissan connections ??

CVT!!!

If by "CVT" , you are refering to the "Constant Velocity Transmission",Nissan has nothing like it.The only other company I know of that used a "CVT" design is Honda. The 280z and the 300zx with turbos can be handled by "RE4RO1A" ,especially if you allow me to lay my hands on it!The earlier Z's had a strong trans called an "L4N71B"(very stout)!Hope this helps!

Looks just about perfect. I've never been a fan of chrome (actually usually I hate it), but those pass the Domo inspection (barely ). Congrats on the car!

I also agree, very nice car. Welcome to the site!

To improve on your car's appearance I'd suggest taking some plastic polish/scratch remover to your headlights. They look a little hazy. I've improved a few member's headlights by rubbing scratch remover on them with my fingers then buffing off with a towel.

Also, if you do a quick search you will find several threads on how to remove the moisture from your taillights.

Again, great car. Treat it well

I think I'd pitch the wheels off a cliff if I were you and get some nice Rota's ($650 shipped from www.subydude.com)... Other than that, it's a very clean SVX...
