I just couldn't figure it out. DOW? I was sure you misspelled COW, which would mean your prize COW was about to CALVE, but then I thought, "How would we know about Larry's COW? He's never mentioned his COW before."

Well anyway, congratulations on the new addition. I'm hoping for a Blue Ribbon calf - a male - since it's a BULL market.

Picture this - Aredub's pearlie breaks down 20 miles outside of Lafayette (oil plug again). A farmer takes pity on this grown man sobbing uncontrollably beside the road, & offers the only help he can render - he hitches up 4 cows to the stricken vehicle & they begin to slowly tow it to its destination. Yup - At last Aredub can brag that he finally has four steer wheeling.

Me too. Anyone notice what Ted's payroll was for his entire career?
1.5 million bucks. That's about what a 240 batting average journeyman infielder can get this year. (Yeah, I know, it's OLD money). Also ask if any player would consider spending five years in Kuwait & Afghanistan during his prime years. Oh - and also ask, if a player today would take a pay cut. Ted took one in his last year because he could "only" muster a 314 average the year before.
If our baseball bozos actually strike this year, that's it for me.
May every pampered player have to find employment in a steel mill.
