Meet Shirts

Ok...so what would everyone think about getting meet shirts??

Here are some possibilities I am getting some shirts screen printed for my floor (im an RA-Resident Assiatant at school) and i was thinking we could have shirts screen printed, or when i get home for the summer in 2 weeks, i may be able to work it out so that we can get polo shirts embroidered.

If screen printed
the screen costs $15.00
for 17 short sleeve shirts with print on front and back in one color-the shirts are going to cost me $5.50 a piece.---so if we are getting a couple 100 i can see the cost going drastically done (ill see what i can find out today)

Im not sure what the costs will be for the polo shirts and to have them embroidered. One of my good friends parents own a business that can do it.

What does everyone think...what does everyone think about a design.

Ok heres the word on the screen printed shirt.

If we go with this idea, saying that everyone would want them this is what i ballparked

Roughly 200 shirts
3 color front and back print
White or Black Short Sleeve shirts

Total cost (shirts, screen, tax)
$360-white shirts
$460-black shirts

Now i know that we have a ton of comp people here that can mess around in illustrator and photoshop..now lets get some ideas rolling around and start posting shirt ideas, i know i have a couple in my head already

Also if we choose to go polo route, i envision the shirts just having our network logo embroidered on the left breast (where the Polo logo is), with the shirts being the color of our cars possibly

With the screen print i kinda see our network logo being on the back with some saying about the 10th ann, and on the front maybe putting the subaru logo, or the SVX logo...not sure

And yes Mike im still on the stupid dialup...ITS hasnt come through yet (not like i was expecting them to though ::sigh:

I really like it!

One suggestion: On the polo, use the Network Logo with "10th Anniversary Meet" underneath in small letters.
Car-color shirts sounds very cool. I'll have two Polo-polos!

If you get this going and need seed money, I'll send in the money for 2 large T's and 2 large Polos just as soon as I know how much.

Being an old marketing guy (in terms of years of experience, not age . . . okay, okay, in terms of age), I'd like to see the 10th Anniversary have its own unique logo. I think it's an important enough event to warrant it. Anybody up for the challenge?

I too would like to see a unique logo for the 10th ann....i just said that stuff as an idea..and saw the silk screened shirts more as a club shirt...and the nice polo as the **special** 10th ann shirts

Ill start working on something ina few days...i have finals next week so that def has to come first. But all who can do, lets start seeing designs and thoughts

Also i will work on a "sign up" sheet for this too and either upload it to a message or put it in my locker

I totally want and would like for this to happen

I have an embroidery machine in my basement and just got the network logo digitized today. I'll stitch one up and scan it for a post.

I would definitely like to get a polo shirt.
I might even be able to conjure up a design or two. I'll work on that and then get back to you.

Now, I hate to ask a stupid question, but where can I find detailed meet information? Place, date, etc.?

I doubt I can attend, climbing a mountain this summer, but if it doesn't interfere, I might just make the road trip.
