It can't twist - CFRP doesn't bend like metal. And, while I'm sure your friend is very good at his job, ask him whether or not he can repair a vehicle made entirely of carbon fiber and glue. I bet he doesn't have an autoclave. That's not a dig, the equipment just costs tens of millions of dollars.

That's my point - very few people, besides Ferrari, are going to be able to repair this thing at all. I would guess that there isn't any place in the US that can do it.
