EZ pass and the SVX
ok so I want to put my ezpass in the SVX for a few months. I have heard that the windshield will cause it issues. True? If so what have you done with your EZ pass to make it work. I think i read about someone holding it out the sunroof...well I have an L so that isn't an option. I do not want to get a new unit since I will be putting this back in the baja in a few months (no bumper mounts)
Back window? Rear deck? slow down and pay the toll? stay home? Edit: i just searched and found some decent answers.. Sorry.

Re: EZ pass and the SVX
I just got mine too and was wondering the same thing. I think though, since I have an LSi, that I'll use the sunroof.

Re: EZ pass and the SVX
Psssssh this is an EASY one. You install a class III hitch, buy a little trailer, put EZ pass on trailer, ride through toll lanes like you own the place. Its so easy a caveman could do it.....

Re: EZ pass and the SVX
Only the LSi and LS-L models had the titanium dioxide windshield. I have one on the glass of my L and it works perfect, but I tried just for grins a few times and wouldn't work on my 92 LS-L.

Re: EZ pass and the SVX
anyone care to verify this??? if this is correct you just put the biggest grin on my face. I wondered about the Ti windshield since my radar detector seems to work pretty good on the dash.

Pretty sure all models have the coated windshields...

Re: EZ pass and the SVX
You can opt for a unit that mounts over your front plate. I did. It's not pretty, but neither is a front plate, and I'm stuck with that thing, too.

Re: EZ pass and the SVX
I'll say this again. In my 1995 SVX L, it worked fine through the windshield.
