damn check engine light
Alright, so I've been driving this SVX for a few days now, and I seem to have one small silly issue...
The funkin' check engine light keeps turning on and off. Is this anything to be alarmed about? I assume it's just a good idea to head to the MAF first and foremost. The car doesn't drive any different when the light's on, so I wanna say it's just a bad sensor or maybe something that needs cleaning. I've also been driving on 87 octane. Does that matter/affect anything?

Alrighty, I thought it might be the knock sensor. I filled her up with premium but I haven't driven home yet (gas station, 3rd shift) I'll see if anything goes different.

Well see, one problem is, the light never stays on long enough to get a code from. It'll only pop on at the weirdest times, like when I'm changing lanes, or getting some air over some railroad tracks... (cars are made to be driven right? )
Anyhow, I pulled the 02 sensor today while eating lunch, and this thing NEEDS cleaning lol. I'll take it out again tomorrow and get that little bastage.
