Is that the original color? I don't recall the car being offered in that color red but maybe it is the pictures.

+1 there were a few reds used for the svx depending on year, model and market. I can name four off the top of my head, but there may be more. Ruby mica, Brilliant Red, Bordeaux, and Claret.

To our knowledge, there were only 3 true red colors used for the major world markets.

Barcelona Red ..Color code 372 ..1993-1994
Used in the US and UK. The same color was used in Germany, known as "Bright Red", and Japan, where it was known as "Bright Red 1")

Swiss Ruby Mica/ Red Mica ..Color code 247 .. 1991-1993.
Used in Japan, Australia New Zealand (and possibly Switzerland)

Brilliant Red/ Bright Red ..Color code 559 .. 1995-1997.
Used in US, Canada, UK (and in Japan, where it was known as "Bright Red 2")


The only other "reds" were the

Claret/ Dark Red Mica/ Crimson Mica ..Color code 265 .. Used in the US, Canada, Germany, Japan, Australia and New Zealand

Bordeaux Pearl/ Bordeaux Red Mica ..Color code 559 ..Used in the US, Canada, UK, (and Japan, where it was known as "Bright Red 2")
