You're not kidding. I'll drive the fleet over there if I have to. My SVX, Justy and Legacy will all prevent them from leaving.

'Sorry, guys, but you're stuck here. I guess there's nothing left to do but get back on in there and continue to offer great prices on Subaru parts.'

Try www.subaruparts.com - they look like they're still in business.

So far I've received almost everything I ordered from them, other than 1 small trim piece that was on factory backorder. They're just slow and uncommunicative.

All should remember that www.1stsubaruparts.com also had about 15 other domain names (svxparts.com....) so beware when ordering.

Take a price quote with you from 1stsubaruparts to your local dealer. I've never had a prob getting mine to match prices.

I agree with Mike

They whine and moan, but they've matched prices for me as well.

Post ~~NEWS UPDATE~~

All right, here is the low down on SVXParts.com (1stSubaruParts.com). As of November 1, 2002, our Subaru franchise will be sold to another dealer in town and we will no longer be able to sell or buy Subaru parts & accessories from Subaru. We have a non-compete agreement with this dealership to sell parts to anyone for 2 years. I know this comes as a shock to most people, but I will not be going to the new franchise. I will be staying with the GM Family and selling parts at chevyparts.net and about 10 other GM domains.

But with all the bad news, there is a silver lining! The SVXParts.net (1stSubaruParts.com) website will still be up and running! We have chosen a great Subaru Dealer in Auburn, WA to continue the great prices, selection and customer service that we have been know for. The person you will need to talk to will be Larry Hooley. He is the parts manager and he knows Subaru's! You can reach him by calling (toll-free) 866-528-5282. Also, the person who set up SubaruParts.com will be working with us to improve the sites and make them even better to use!

Thanks for all of your great years of friendly conversations and letting me give you an opportunity to serve,

C. Scott Williams
Internet Parts Manager

Hmm... <thinks of all the restoration parts he needs for the cav> I can live with this anyway.
