Any with poor milage or inferior performance

I was suffering from both. I was getting around 12 mpg and at high revs (6000) from flooring it the engine shuddered and held out for a looong time, shuddering in what sounded like the red zone the entire time, before it would shift (perhaps some pluggs were not sparking properly??). I was afraid it was the tranny.

After an oil change, an air filter change, and a sparkplug change, all seems to be well! This car, wow....is all I can say. It never drove this well. I hydroplaned (mildly) several times tonight due to my lead foot. I just couln't help myself.

Anyone with similiar problems, I advise a sparkplug change. Not sure if mine had ever been changed, so at 98k it was time. What a difference...

I can only assume the gas milage will increase as well, I'll keep ya'all posted once I figure it out later this week.

Anyone else have similar experiences with their sparkpluggs?

Wow that is great Most everyone else has never had that much of change due to plugs and filters. I think your filters may have been really dirty. Change the PCV too? Did ya do the work or have it done?
