Post Speed sensor/ speedo??

Ok so I'm working on a 5 speed swap and ran into a couple problems

1st-the previous owner I purchased it from had already done the swap and the speedometer does not work and I was wondering what's the best way to wire the speed sensor

2nd-options to wire up the reverse lights as well

3rd-the dash lights do not work but the gauges work for the most part there is a big wiring mess under the dash. Does any one have a component location diagram to help I'm assuming that it has something to do with the rigged ignition switch with missing wires

4th-kind of unrelated but has anyone had problems with the rack and pinion leaking from the threades for the lines, I replaced a couple pinched lines and now power steering works but will leak out all the fluid daily quick (didn't work when I got it)

Long story short it was a poor instal from the previous owner and now swapped in a new transmission after the other one failed and kinda stuck at the point I was when I bought it. The transmission is out of a 03 Impreza RS any help would be appreciated
