I get a ticket for no tags (even though the KY DMV told me I didn't need them -- sheesh -- add 85.00 to the cost of my 2nd SVX). John Hoffman was driving from La Jolla, California to Baltimore, MD in his Outback. Now, in all those miles, where was the ONE place he got a ticket. YOU GOT IT! INDI - FREAKIN' - ANA! Man, I gotta get over this. I'm still ticked.

How's that for weird reasoning.
Yes, Larry. That explains it.

(BTW, it was a ticket for "no tags," not a speeding ticket .)

Nope, definitely "no tags." I keep my zebras in their place. The tater always helps.

GAH! We can't have the "Meet Monster" hitting this far out! Sheesh. Sorry to hear it, Chris. You shouldn't have any trouble finding another one in your area. G'luck.

I've done no ticket no tag, no plate twice from east coast to Chicago last year in 2 different SVXes.

Reading SVX and the NJ SVX that I currently drive. That was fun.

Yeah, but, you didn't have to go through INDIANA! That's where they're hiding and waiting for SVXes (3 of my last 5 tickets were in Indiana -- Well, one warning, two tickets)

I think indiana has the record for most svx's at once... they got 5 of us for doing (94mph i think) at once... The officer let us go though. Nice guy.

I think I'd think again too, if I stopped one car and four more followed.

This kinda bites. I live in Santa Fe, NM and according to Yahoo, I'm 1800+ miles and 30+ hours (not counting the time spent on the side of the road in Indiana, discussing current affairs with local law enforcment agencies) from Reading. Who made Reading the center of the US SVX universe?

I could fly, but then my SVX wouldn't be there. I could drive, but that's one full week and 4000 miles.

I think it's only fair to relocate the meet to a more central location - like Albuquerque, for instance.

Whaddaya think?

I did go through it.
Then you were lucky. (Geography has never been my strong suit). It was amazing, though. When I drove my car home, I went therough New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Part of Kentucky, then, about 5 miles into Indiana, BAM!

Same way on the way to Vermont. I wasn't five miles into Indiana after crossing over from KY 'til, BAM!

John Hoffman drove from La Jolla, CA on his way to Baltimore, and as soon as he crossed into Indiana --- BAM!
