well did I miss this mountain FAll meet?
Gee did I miss this MEET.......
Being that I live in these mountains.  that would be a bummer. so when's the date, and where's the place.????? Guys the leaves have yet to start turning yet. However it won't be long.. As for rain.. NC and TN had more rain fall then over 40% of the country during the peak drought times.. True things got a bit dry, but the leaves still change ( larry) THey just don't stick around long.. the temps start dropping with a quickness. Lemm know if this is still a possible or am I too late! although I do hesitate if it is all the way up there in Knoxville. That is a hell of a drive for me.

it's getting chilly!
Hey guys....
I'm going up into the hills to take a peak at how the higher elevations are as for Leaves and COlor.. Not sure what I'll find.. I will let you knwo what I see.. I'm in asheville, nc. Mt mitchel is , well that's a small drive.. however one can see a few miles maybe a few bordering states on a clear day from the tower. Then being at 6k feet up in evelvation is sorta fun.. happy Drive'n svx1999 It is starting to get a bit chilly here. still in the 40's. The best air conditioner for the SVX??? Fall & winter.

Reviving this thread
I think we’ve already missed the fall colors in the Smokies, but still think we could have a little mini-meet, been checking my schedule and it looks like the weekend of Nov. 30th would work for me, how about everyone else?
The place: Gatlinburg, TN Agenda: Maybe a drive over to the Cherokee Reservation, or Cligman’s dome on Sat. then dinner somewhere Sat. night. (Suggestions?) Give me some feedback and we’ll try to make it happen!
