1997 Legacy SUS sedan

The car has 155k on it..runs and drives good...Transmission has had the rear cover/clutches replaced due to the all wheel drive binding on tight turns..I believe it was a $1200 repair...all the gears shift good...I had the engine out of it,it had a burnt valve...I put a junk yard refurbished head on it...It uses about 1 to 1 1/2 quarts of oil between oil changes..Has zero leaks....I believe it is the rings..timing belt,tensioner,and all seals were replaced while the engine was out,I replaced the valve seals on both heads,the ignition coil,and wires...the body is very solid..no dent's...couple of minor marks on rear bumper,Green and gray 2 tone color,black interior,interior is also in very good condition...hole in drivers floor mat,no rips in seats,nothing missing,and has heated seats..I put in a Kenwood am/fm/cd unit,with alpine and rockford fosgate speakers,no amps though. Radiator is 2 years old,all brakes are all about 7-8k old,tire's have about 70% life left...rear struts will need replacement.
I have been told that it is worth about $3800 in fair condition..I would be happy with $3100

It was the first year, generally only available in New England. Probably more rare than an SVX.

the second Gen. SUS was more rare than the SVX since it was only made from 97-99. Like the SVX it only came in automatic. I love mine and really want another, but I am finished with buying cars north of NY
