One other things... how the HELL does a lighter alternator pulley "help with heel-toeing??"
Do you know what heel-toe shifting is? Read up on it and you will understand better. The lightweight pulleys will allow the engine to rev up more quickly, which helps in heel-toe shifting when you blip the throttle on downshifts to rev match.

I second, or third, that the dog bone is a composite material. I would have to guess it is made of glass filled nylon with soft rubber bushings.

I've read up extensively, and can perform it - at least could on my old car. Can't really do it on the auto SVX till I throw the 5spd in it...

In my experience, the engine revs up plenty fast in every car - it's the human who's too slow. I still see any "benefit" for revving under no load (as would be applicable in heel-toe) as less then negligible. The extra torque and HP should be more noticeable when under load.

In addition, why then does it not mention it to be a benefit for the crank pulley, which drops a significantly larger portion of weight, as compared to the alternator pulley? Just doesn't add up...

lol *shrug* I dunno then. Remember, these guys sell muffler bearings, headlight fluid, and flux capacitors, so they can get a bit creative on the advertising.

I was really just assuming that's what they meant about heel-toe.
