I bought the pulleys from a shop in Ontario, they look good. More subtle than the polished aluminum. I paid $135 shipped for both.

Warning! Moron question follows!
Uhh... anyone know what a "pitch stop" is, what it does, where it goes, and what the benefits of upgrading it are? $85 seems like alot of money to "upgrade" a part that I've never heard of, so I can't think it is a cost-effective upgrade. Though I do like those pulley's, I'll have to wait till after Christmas...

A pitch stop keeps you tranny from moving.

I'm guessing the stock pitch stop is made of something with rubber/silicone on it then? And this new one is made to be stiffer, correct?

Yes the stock one is made of something like a "high density" plastic and rubber bushings. The Group A mounts is made of solid aluminum anodize coated and urethane bushings.

I am pretty sure the stock pitch stop (aka dog bone) is metal not plastic...

That could be true (I don't know) , but wouldn't make sense. Some of the members here have upgraded theirs to a STi group n mount. The only fiffernce is the STi uses a more stiff rubber bushing.

Nope, it's some type of plastic.

Ah ok. Well then will it work with a WRX 5spd in a SVX?
One other things... how the HELL does a lighter alternator pulley "help with heel-toeing??"
