where does the engine harness enter?

I'm ready to start wiring my 911 with a modified factory SVX harness and I have a quick question. I know there is an engine harness that can be left on the engine and has plugs that plug into the main harness. My question is, when the main harness enters the engine bay through the firewall, does it enter on the driver's side, or the passanger's side?

The engine harness enters the engine bay on the passenger side. The grommet is just about matched to the position of the bracket that holds the engine harness connectors.

On the passenger side, the TCU, starter, steering and brake master cylinder wiring passes through.
