Some repair ?s

Ok bought my SVX about 4 months ago and have been driving it daily since. Only put about 12kms a day going to and from wrk on the car. No problems. Runs great, but since I got it I've been meaning to take it in to the Subaru dealership to give it a thorough going over and tell me what, if anything would be needed in repairs...
I fully expected a long list of major repairs even though the vehicle has been running great... I was pleasantly pleased with the results. However, there are a few things they suggest I consider doing. My question to you folks is, are these things really worth doing or something I should put off until a noticeable problem exists. I usually hold off on repairs until I feel they are necessary, but I wanted to ak your opinions

Recommend to replace
oil pump seals, rear separator plate and rocker cover gaskets ($1,672 plus tax.)
Machine frnt brake rotors ($153.00 plus tax)
Replace rear crosspover brake line (rusted) (359.00 plus taxes)

How many kilometers are on the car? How bad are those seals leaking? Does it use much oil? I have dealt with the rusted rear brake line and that price is reasonable in my opinion considering the tank needs to be dropped. Of course when they do the job something else will be rusted and break and the cost will go up.

rear seperator plate?? Not sure what is meant by this... the flex plate, the rear seal, or the access panels for the piston pins??

apparently the separator seal is a large 'steel' seal that connects the tranny to the engine or something like that...Does that make any sense???

164,000 kilometres on the car (100,000 miles) Does not use any noticeable oil.
The service manager wasn't saying these had to be done right away, just pointing out potential problems that should be done depending on how often the car is driven....
I don't put a lot of miles on the car. To and from work about 12-15 kms (10minutes) to and from work. So I'm not really dependent on the car from day to day. I have another car I can drive to work. I say this because I don't need the car to be perfect that's why I'm leaning on just leaving these things until the problems become noticeable, if they ever do. The brake line is another issue. That's more safety related and will be done. The front rotors seem fine for the time being.

If you're not leaking any oil it is a waste of money to do the rear seperator plate and rear main seal. Either the trans or the engine need to come out to do that service. I've never seen that recommended as standard PM. If you have the engine or trans out, then yes it makes sense to replace those parts to avoid 10 hours of labor down the road.
The front seals and cover gaskets are easily done while the engine is in the car. But again, if your not leaking, and not pulling it apart for other things like the timing belt or water pump, I think I'd leave it for now.

Do you have a pulsing or shaking when you brake? If so then yes, you should have your rotors cut. I assume that price includes new brake pads?

If it is rusted, then yes this needs to be replace soon. But judging by the other suggestions, I'd check with another shop first.

Thanks Hocrest. No pulsing that I can detect. I think I'll keep an eye on everything for this year and make some decisions next year after it comes out of storage. Maybe I'll have a few more bucks to spend on it then.

I'd hold off on all of it except the brake line. That is the last thing you want going bad while cruising 70 MPH down the highway or while driving through a school zone. Valvoline Maxlife engine oil tends to do a good job of keeping seals good and leak free, So switching to that will buy you even more time before you need to worry about seals. Good luck.

The only thing steel between the engine and the trans is the flexplate... If its not cracked at this mileage I doubt it will be any time soon.

The oil seperator cover on the back of the engine is either going to be made of aluminum or plastic so I doubt thats what he was suggesting...

This leads me to believe he wanted to replace the rear main seal which would make sense but not unless it was leaking already or there was another reason to pull the engine/transmission
