I looked at the fuel pressure regulator and the area under it is soaked with gas so I guess this is the problem.Parts store are over 100$ for this so Im going to my trusty local junkyard and spend probaly less than $5 Dont worry its "low mileage" parts car. I almost freaked the last time I went there because the SVX was gone, but found it in another area Yardman say he'll keep it because I get parts off of it.

I appreciate the offer Huck, but you dont have to go through the trouble. Besides I need a excuse to go to the junkyard and my wife isnt working tommorrow, ya know to see if there is any promising "parts".Also I wish Subaru wouldnt use phillips head screws for parts like these as its near impossible not to strip the head, bolts or hex is going back in

No problem,
But it's here if you need it.

I agree completely on the phillips head issue....that and the wire hose clamps

Later,

Later,
Ugh - the wire hose clamps and tiny phillips screws are both terrible. I can't understand how subaru could do so well with making these cars fairly easy to do most maintenance on and then use those tiny little phillips head screws that are guaranteed to strip out or the head snap off.

Give it time to dry out all the fuel, that has run through the engine. Also check the oil level, it may have fuel in there, and the fumes will make it too rich to start.

Harvey.

Im going to dry it out with a open flame Seeing as about a gallon of gas spilled everywhere.I got my FPR for the amazing price of free from a lower mileage subie.Yardman says if I pull it I can have it!Too bad he wont let me have parts off the SVX like this but still very cheap!
