my roof is poop

I'm sure I'm not the only person with this problem, my roof is starting to oxidize pretty badly, and I've been pondering the massive amount of money I'll need to repaint my car.

my first question: is there a way to fix this without a new paintjob (I did the buff and wax thing, but it doesn't really last very long)

and second, I was looking at the thread with the truant officer svx, and really liked that paint scheme, and am wondering how it would look on a laguna blue, can someone with some skill with photoshop make me a black roof on a laguna blue.

of my oxidized roof? nope.

I had surgery on both of my feet on November 3rd, and I can't actually walk currently (no sympathy, I love sitting around ).

so I can't take any pictures, but as for a photoshop, I assume there are about a million pictures out there of laguna blues...

btw, I think the pins will come out of my left foot in mid december. yay me.

you could try some 3M Imperial Hand Glaze - its not too aggressive, but does a good job cleaning the paint. put some on, and rub furiously, then buff off. when you're done with the entire car, follow with your choice of wax. i'd recommend NXT Synthetic Tech wax (see my review here .) if you do it right, you'll have Popeye arms when you're done.


if its too badly oxidized, repainting may be the only option.
