Oh, that Black & Tan!!

That's allright then.

Anyway, they have got very stringent about shooting people of late.

Please do visit. You won't even hear as much as a raised voice, unless you go missing when your round's due.

Did you hear that one about two fat guys drinking themselves silly in the bah??

One guy says to the other, "Your round"

The other says, "So are you, ye fat git"

Nick.
I am sorry to hear about the recent turn of events... I am about 30 miles outside of Champaign, so if you are bored with things when you get settled (not to discourage you, but you will), maybe I could buy you a beer. There are a few folks I have met working for Volition and from what I have heard it is a good shop...

Champaign is a fun town. Crazy college kids, source of plenty of entertainment. Good bars, decent live music, and you are used to midwest weather, so it shouldn't be too big of a shock.

Let us know how things are going with the move.

I didn't work on Descent, no. But I am a huge fan of the series, which made working for Outrage a big deal for me.

The guy who founded Volition was part of Parallax, so he helped create the original Descent. So I guess I'm staying in the Descent family.

NO SERIOUSLY! You'll be moving near Madison, WI! I mean, it sucks that you lost your old job, but it sounds like you'll get along just fine at your new one! New jobs are kinda refreshing anyway! Perhaps you'll.... hone yourself.

Anyway, we'll have to have a meet man! You could come up to madison for a weekend, kick back some beers, and maybe (if you wanted) you could stop by the animation studio at school and show us some mad skills in level design!

I know you're stressed/nervous but ... from my perspective, this is GREAT news!

Good luck moving!

- Rob
I appreciate your enthusiasm, Rob. My wife and I have other friends in the Mad-town area, so we'll be up there, for sure.

Yeah, I am looking forward to starting the new job. Many aspects of the change will definitely be 'refreshing.' It's the crap I have to do before I can start that I'm not looking forward to.

Trent, I'll absolutely take you up on that offer after we move. I know that Champaign is hardly an exciting town, but the fact that we have some friends in the area already is a big help. PM me with a phone number I can reach you with. Hopefully there's still room in my inbox - I don't clean it out very often.

Turning Illinois on us.

That's okay by me.

One good point is - there are some pretty active bicycle clubs where you'll be. Maybe we can meet for the Arthur 'Amish Country' ride sometime.

Best of luck to you both Nick

Sorry to see you leave.

I hope the move is fruitful and the relocation smooth for you and Amber.
