Unhappy dim fuel needle..

greetings and salutations (or whatever)

I got into my car to go to work tonight and noticed that the fuel gauge was extremely dim when compared to the rest of the instrument cluster (I just love saying "instrument cluster").. The needle didn't appear to be illuminated at all, and the green background was pretty dim. How many lightbulbs am I going to need to replace, and if one has been written, where is the how-to?

TIA-

-Adam

I have the perfect solution.......don't drive at night.

seriously, I feel your pain. The "off" button for my climate control system gave out. Thankfully I just have to look for the unlit button to know which one to press.

Lwin's how-to on replacing the gauges works. It tells how to take out the intrument cluster (hehe, it is fun) You change the bulbs from behind.

Adam, why don't you get my bed ready and I'll head on up there for the weekend. That way I can help you will both your dashboard, and controlling the party. Well, somewhat at least. It's got to be a little wild.
Seriously, the dash isn't that hard to take out. There are no cables, it just self-clips in place. Just start unscrewing stuff as you go and the only problem that you should have is getting the hazard and defrost switch out. I still havn't mastered that yet.
