P.S. Laguna blue is the prettiest SVX color... and i paused in a moment of silence after i read the fact that it was chopped up in pieces

I think I have most of that, But alot of it is boxed up so I haven't even seen everything myself yet. I'll let you know on it all once I get down to the shop tomorrow and unpack it all.

Yes, I was struck by the car too and I agree laguna blue is one of the best colors ever on an SVX. It really shouldn't have been destroyed, But to each owner his own I guess.

I went through the parts yesterday and I have TONS of good stuff. Some examples are:
A very nice center console
94 SVX owners manual
lots of very nice interior trim including door panels and dash
all glass except the windshield
L model(engine speed) FWD power steering rack
R-134 A/C condenser
heater core and blower fan
rear sway bar
front axles
blue driver side fender
blue pass. and driver side mirrors
and MORE!

Yeah, I know what you mean. I felt the same way at Reading with my SVX.

Anybody need some parts or service??? I have alot of parts and cars now and it's getting a little crowded, Plus I need to save up for the trip to Florida which will be occuring very soon. I'm just waiting on 1 more stupid wheel bearing to finally come in.

Hi. Are the lots of cars you mention other than SVX? I visited your website again, but saw only the one SVX that's been on sale for a while now, and the pearl that's also been "Sold" for a while now. Thanks.

Yes, I currently have 2 SVX's I'm restoring and plan to sell. 1 is a 1994 Laguna Blue LE FWD model and the other is a 92 Teal LS-L I'm restoring from an engine fire. They will be on the site when they are running and ready to go. I also have a 1987 Dodge Ram and a 1978 Nova for sale. I also just got 2 parts cars worth of SVX parts.

I'm having a 4th of July sale until Friday for SVXWN members ONLY. 15% off on all used parts I have in stock.
I'll also be removing all the glass on my parts cars soon and don't want to have to store it all, So it needs to be sold soon. I have blue and gold available. I have everything but windshields, But I can find them if you need one. I always have tons of other parts, some listed a few posts back so feel free to PM or email me with what you need.

And the deal gets sweeter.

I now have 5 day a week delivery to my shop from my supplier, So engines and trannies will be a tad cheaper now and will be received much quicker for as long as my supplier has the part.

I have a ton of work to catch up on after the week and a half in Florida, But I can still do some small jobs on the side if anybody needs me and I'll be starting appointments on the 20th of this month for larger jobs. I also now have my truck ready to go and a flatbed trailer to pull behind it, So if anybody needs anything hauled or whatever just feel free to ask and we can work something out. I have plenty of parts as usual too, So if your looking for anything just let me know.

My question to him was if an awd tranny would fit in my fwd svx. Without needing a cap or something. I'm sure someone on here knows! My front diff exploded on me this morning and my backup car already has that problem!

To answer your other question, an AWD trans can not simply go into a FWD car.

You would need to use parts from your FWD trans to convert the AWD trans and eliminate the tailhousing where the AWD is.

And I know that an FWD trans will not shift properly with an AWD TCU. I assume that the same mis shifting will occur with a FWD ECU trying to shift an AWD trans??

For some good news though. You can use a FWD trans from any 90-97 Legacy or Impreza. Go to http://www.car-part.com/ you should be able to source a FWD trans close by.
Almost all 97's were AWD there were only a few FWD so most likely your search will be limited to 96.
