In car microphone placement

I just bought myself a new toy for the SVX and it comes with bluetooth for hands-free calling.

So now I'm wondering, where have you decided to put the microphone in your car?

It should be here tomorrow so I'll snap some pictures after I get it installed.

In my car it's on the visor

Mine sits on Top of the steering column cover. People I've talked to say it sounds good.

As 92 SVX said, I've placed my mic...well wedged...between the window sill garnish/plastic piece and the visor. I ran the wire behind the plastic piece that sits in the driver's side front corner, the piece is easily removed. It's just held in by metal clips. You'd never know it was there.

I tried out a few things and ended up going with this:



I think it worked out pretty good, no one noticed it until I asked them to find the microphone.



I snapped a few pictures while I was putting everything in the car.

Edited: The iPod/iPhone cable is fine. I was dumb and had a Cydia tweak installed that wouldn't release control over to an accessory device
