Well we're moving to Everett this week, and I don't want to take the car. Here's some pictures.

If you take it with you, it will be closer to me.

If you fill out the template for the Car For Sale forum, it will help answer some of the questions members may have.

The body damage actually occurred last year on our way home from the maintenance meet at Earl's. A (pickup) truck merged into the side of me. The plastic panel is the only part severely damaged. I could have replaced the panel, and repainted the quarter, but I kept the insurance money for the house fund.

Earl - I actually bought the car in Everett, and I think it wants to go home.

Body Condition

Hey dere. Have you described "Body Condition" as "poor" based on your picture of damage near the rear wheel, or are there other issues in the body condition that would prompt you to describe the body condition as poor. The other pictures you posted make it look much better than poor, at least to me. Thanks.

Mostly there is just the obvious damage. The car also has an amazing number of door dings, a small dent in the back, and a small dent in the hood. It received a fresh coat of Maaco quality paint about a year and a half ago (before I bought it).

Hey. Were the dings and dents painted over by Maaco, or did they happen afterwards? Do you have an estimate cost to fix the overall body damage? Could you post a few closeups of the small dents and dings? Thanks.

Sorry for the delay in the response. We're now in Washington, and don't have internet yet! Anyhow I can't get you any pictures of the dings because the car is still in Oregon.

The maaco job was right over all of the dents and dings. The car looks allright at a glance, but upon further inspection it's far from perfect.

I got a quote to repair the damage for 700. It could be mostly fixed (very cheaply) with just a replacement plastic panel though.

It may be a while before we have internet again, so if you want to ask more questions feel free to contact me at 503-307-3892 or just post here and I'll get to it eventualy.
