Cupholder

Like most of us, I have been on the trail of the PERFECT cupholder. Up to now, Ron's and Larry's have been the best I have seen, but nothing I was able to find on my outings. When I was up in Indy over Thanksgiving, I was wandering through a Target automotive department. On a shelf all by itself....not another like it anywhere...was this weird piece of black plastic labeled as a "cupholder". I picked it up...eyed it from several angles...fondled it with careful attention to the possibilities...and then I noticed the price..$4.95....oh what the heck, I've wasted larger amounts on junk that doesn't work. I took it out to SuperRu and slid it into place.....and batted my eyelids with amazement. It WORKS!

On top, it is two cupholders separated by a small box-shaped holder. The body continues down as a thin wedge that slides between the seat and the console. It has two outward bulges at the bottom that form a tight grip with the seat near the floor. It works over on the passenger side even better....more clearance from the wheel, and Jean said it didn't bother her at all. Easy and instinctive reach from either side of the console. Best darn $5 I think I ever spent. There was no brand name on the cardboard, so all I can tell you is that it came from Target. Don
