2.5L N/A or wrx tranny?

Need some tips.

My old 2.2L tranny is leak where the driveshaft came in.
And i have been look at the wrx tranny and i see that is some work that have too bee done.

So i woundring should i go for wrx tranny or will the 2.5L legacy tranny hold the power that the eg33 gives. Then i can use the the clutch systems i have now.
