SVX in a movie!
It's been a long time since I've been around- my sincere apologies. I miss you guys, but it is kind of hard to stay connected since I stopped racing the SVreX!
Anyway, I just served as the Special Effects Coordinator on an upcoming movie called "Fireproof" (from the producers of "Facing the Giants"). One scene in the movie involved a car wreck, and I prepped the cars and created the effects. We needed a sporty looking car for a street racer, and the car we were going to use fell through, so I couldn't resist. I offered my SVX, and it became fairly prominent in the movie. Mine's is a 5 spd with the 4:11 final drive and a full set of Koni/GC's, so I'm sure this is the first time one has made a movie! Watch for it- should be released in the Summer or the Fall.
