SVX Multi V belts

My belts are looking a bit cracked, does anyone have the generic "5PK877" type part reference for the A/C and Alt+PAS belts ?

Arthur

Read the numbers off the belts, they tell you all you need to know. The first number, either 4 or 5, tells you the number of 'V's the belt has, the remaining number tells you the diameter. Go to your motor factor / Gates belts supplier and quote the number.

If you want to go to your dealer you're looking at about £21 and £19 plus the dreaded for the pair of accessory belts. Like I did before someone told me the above........

Phil.

Phil, thanks - I was just being lazy I know the ID is on the belt, its just such a fiddle trying to get the belt in the correct place to read them with all the covers on the svx. I changed the Forester belts for 1/4 of the subaru price.
If no one calls in with them I will do the job at the weekend.

Arthur
