Some bugger stole my license plate

Yeah back home in Calgary they were $320CDN. Hence I went nuts and bought all vanity plates when I came here.

The big difference is though, that you pay each year the total vanity cost, and once you stop using that plate, others can use it. In Canada you get to keep that plate forever once you paid your fee.

Last month I saw I purty little Porsche on 495N.

Aptly named, for the Bah-stin area: BOXTAH

I liked that one.

A few years back during the heyday of the .com world a certain CEO offered all 20 something of he's higher ups a brand new Boxter if they met some target.

They did and they ALL recieved a nice new toy. Quite a perk. It made the newspapers and all.

I don't know if that company is still in business, but there sure are a lot of them Boxtah's cruisin' the outter loop.

My favorite SVX one is still SCUBIDO's. or somthing like that. He's from PA if memory serves.........which I doubt.

Yeah, really. Even in neighboring states (KY and GA) the fees for just the regular plates are MUCH higher than vanity plates here.
