Talking just wanted to share some news

hey all, my svx is now fixed! well for the meantime and not counting the stupid cruise control...i dont need that anyway. but that problem i was talking about with the check engine light and wipers not working and stalling all turned out to be a blown fuse. i feel stupid that i missed it and had to pay the dealer 67 bucks to find the problem but oh well better safe then sorry. also i was wondering about svx world network stickers, and if they are free or not, if they are i would like to know how to get some, im only 17 and all my money from my minimum wage job goes towards my insurance payment and my gas tank. any help would be appreciated when it comes to things that are free and stuff like that. well im done sorry for the long post but feel free to reply or talk to me on aol instant messenger, my sn is petergunz28.

Question Which fuse?

It'd be good to know which one, in case it happens to someone else. Thanks.

I'm going to guess that your cruise control vacuum line is off. It's a small black vacuum hose by the brake booster. Check it out.

Duct tape?

Actually, I had this dinky little brittle hose under the intake that snapped in two, and I ended up wrapping it with electrial tape.

It's been two years, and it's still there holding.

Hardware stores sell all kinds of small hollow metal tubes, mostly in the fasteners section. I would find one with the right size to fit snuggly into the hole where the plastic snapped off, then reattach the broken part with epoxy. The metal tube will help keep the part in place and add rigidity. Glue is too brittle and probably won't withstand the heat and stress for long.

Re: wow...

I had my AC sensor/vacuum thingy snap off on me(the little black box under the passenger side intake) and I fixed it with a really small straw(stirer?) and some black silican sealer, the stuff that gets really hard. Still working after almost 2 years, so those things can be repaired.
