Yea....me I'm doing this on my own part working with Andrew at Hydra in conjunction with future builds of my kit car. I build kit cars that need a good ECU to run them...he does that for me and in return has another open market for ECU sales. Scratching each others back in a sense.

I would def drop $1700 for this if it is plug and play and gives me better control of my set up....
Pattersonville, NY....about five minutes outside Amsterdam or about 25 minutes west of the Albany capitol. I can get to Colrain Ma of the VT border in about an hour. zip code 12137

Are you talking about turbo aps here? Altered timing to a super late degree allowing turbo spool while off the gas, rally style?
Yes...antilag in it's basic form is just very late ignition and fuel timing that allow the combustion process to occur AFTEF the exhaust valve opens. Not a very good thing to run on a daily driver all the time....but I know of a few desert rally guys here that could make some good use of it in....alot of the newer setups are using the EGR valve as a compensator to reduce the stress ALS puts on a motors components.

I'm definitely interested. Probably in a couple of months after I recover from the family holiday presents and engine replacement/rebuild expenses.

Well folks I'm currently building a rig to put this 92 SVX motor in so I can start the ***** up and scope out the required sensors Andrew needs for this. supposed to meet up with Robert(BenzTech55) to get a bellhousing an TC I need to do this. Would have been much easier if one of you California folks coughed up the time to go to Andrew himself but I'll manage just fine Just joshing ya.....

I'll post some more info as Andrew works this out...

I would have volunteered my car as a guinea pig, but being several thousand miles from California is a slight hinderance.

Tom,

Still working on it with Andrew. I'm awaiting the arrival of the oscilliscope here. Without that I can't get the wave forms Andrew needs to program a base chip and setup the tables.

Worse comes to worse if I don't get a solid lead on a scope within the next two weeks or so I'll be taking this engine and test rig setup to a place that does have one. Motor runs outside a car right now in the stand. Loud as all hell dumping right off the headers

I've been so backed up with work that some things needed to get pushed aside for a bit so I can get some money coming in. Bunch of M3's here now getting IP cages built and some 3.2LS52 race engines.

The way things are going in another year or so I may be looking to hire someone to work along side myself. As much as I like to be hands deep in all the work around here there's only so much one personal can accomplish with two hand in a 24hr period

We have put in one of these units into our SVX rally car http://www.bgsoflex.com/megasquirt.html. I think it still needs some sorting out but it works okay. The issue is to read the timing correctly, the big advantage is these units are not that dear so maybe we should give it a bit more of a look at.

I hear you! 28 years of NAVY/NASA experience starting with mechanical engineering design/testing, evolving over time into my current "passion" of helping design space missions (all aspects, not just the technical ones) and then leading the development of the proposal to sell the concept to NASA HQ has definitely enlightened me to the necessity of having folks you can delegate work to (and trust them to do it right)
