how bad is it

for an svx to sit for months at a time without a tranny in it. obviously i cant start it. ive had a hell of a time getting this transmission rebuilt, and its probably gonna be a couple more weeks before the tranny is back in the car on top of the 2 or 3 months its already been out. anything i should look out for or actions i should take. im sure the car will be very slugish when i first drive it, if it even starts. well any posts will be very appreciated.
thanks jacob

Well, any car that has been sitting for a few months should have the oil changed before you fire it up. Try to get as much fresh gasoline in it as you can, as soon as possible, too. Other than that, I don't think you need to worry too much. If you have a trickle charger, it wouldn't hurt to feed a little juice to the battery every now and then.
