Maint help..

Guys, I need a little assist... I dont have a service manual yet, so Im in the dark on alot of this... My car has 133K on it and I dont know anything about its history... Is there anything special\ particular I should be lookin at, from a maint., standpoint? I have a few "new car" bugs to work out... but all major systems seem a go, as of now. But preventative... any particular preventative stuff??

Also... my headlights have like a film of dirt\water\mildew\something... on or in them... Im really not sure which... I cant really tell at this time. It is making the lights "hazy". Any one had this problem? Know what to do? I priced them new, I was thinkin about just replacin them... ouch... maybe not.

Also... I know some of you guys have aftermarket rotors on your rides... Do they make for a signifigant improvement? What about braided lines, does anyone know of a company that offers premade lines? Custom? Ideas or comments?

Thanks as always.

Sonny

Sonny, go to personal lockers, then to How-to. I've put a maintenance schedule in there. Good luck.

Goodridge makes braided lines. You can do a Google search, or try Dayle at Motorsports Warehouse
( www.motorsportswarehouse.com )

As far as the lights, I use Novus products. Available at J.C. Whitney. Start with the #3 and work your way through the process to shine up your lights. Lots of elbow grease, but well worth it.

It's not in *my* locker. IT's in the *How-to* locker. Scroll down til you see it. It's listed just like a *member's* locker. Happy hunting!

OOPS! Once you get to the "How-To" locker, you'll need to click on the "Link to Aredubjay's Yahoo Briefcase" -- that'll take you to the place wherein lies the most holy grail . . . sorry -- seventies flashback --- will take you to the yahoo briefcase where the chart is.

"BUT IT'S GOT BIG FANGS!"

"Thou shal counteth to three, never to four. Two is too few, and four is too many."

"I fart in your general direction you tiny brained wipers of other peoples bottoms!"

"And they ate Sir Robins minstrels and there was great rejoicing!"

I'll be annoying my wife all night with this stuff!

PLEASE don't let this continue Randy!

Glad I could be of help. I've been annoyoing friends and relatives for years with this stuff. We got a pre-release of the "Album of the Soundtrack of the Movie of the . . . ." Well, you know, at the radio station before the movie came out. I had it all memorized before I saw the movie. My room mate and I started chuckling at the credits (in altered states no less), and the people behind us were rolling before the movie began. They were laughing at us, laughing at the credits. What memories.

"Now, shuddup and go and change your armor." HAHAHAHAHA!

Those credits were the best! Some other favorites:

Bring out ya dead. Quickly followed by "I'm really feeling much better now"

Have fun storming the castle

What is the airspeed velocity of a swallow? African or European? I don't know AAAHHHHHhhhh!

RUN AWAY! (both in the movie and from my wife!)

Thanks for the reference.

Oh Knights who say . . . who, until recently said nih . . ."
