Sold the SVX

Nice rims OK James.

There is a silver car for sale in the UK shod with very similar rims. The company is Goodmayes, and they seem to me to be asking too much for the car. [Signs on, they have it for sale for yonks] It seems a nice car, but no idea what year it is. They use the arcane British method of giving the reg a letter, and call it M reg. I'm guessing it's 94 or 95, but it could be 93 or 96 for all I know. This is a seriously stupid way of advertising a car for sale. Early/late 94 would give a buyer all he needs to know, but that would be too easy, and they are obviously not in a hurry to sell it.

Actually I have a slight preference for the wheels on the English car, there is a slight bulge to the centre dish. I like them both, though, lovely rims.

Tone, if I had yours, I would paint the centre of the rim yellow like the car, and leave the rim section polished like it is. Totally totally cool.

I mean the whole rim centre piece, including the five spokes, right out to where it meets the polished rim.

Now that would look pretty trick.

I have seen photos of the wheels Randy mentions that were meant to be Polo Green. Slight mismatch in colour, I would say. If I was being kind, that is.
