Plugged nickel, and platinum

Ryan,

If they were cheapos, they were not factory fit. Standard plugs are long-life platinum.

Hi Svxit

How much does it cost to replace the o2 sensors, and is there a way to check if they are not doing the job? My car has 60K, is Dec '91, and I would not expect them to be faulty, but wonder if the age is a factor in deterioration. Any ideas??

I emphasize the section in () on that post...I've slept since then so odds on the actual number is different.. I know it was a heck of a lot more than i was willing to pay.

Ouch. That's not cheap.... maybe I *will* do them myself.. and try to remember the lesson I learned 11 years ago when I accidentaly cross-threaded the 6th plug on my '78 Datsun 280Z
