Laguna SVX in Everett

I see this one every day on my way to work. (ATS, 787 L/N 6)
It's in an apartment parking lot on Casino Rd., a few blocks west of Hardeson.
Does anyone know who's it is?
I may have to check it out sometime.

I don't have a clue. I am not aware of any Laguna Blues in that area.

It's been sitting there for a few weeks now.

I wouldn't bother. Unless you are looking for a parts car, or you like body work.
The right rear quarter is mashed. It looked like the right door was too.
Left front fender also beat. Also, windshield cracked bad.
That was all I saw without getting out of my car.

Just a wild shot in the dark, and probably wrong, but it "could" be argueably the most famous SVX - the Laguna Blue that was stolen years ago and involved in the 30 minute high speed police chase all over King/Snohomish counties on live TV - and later national news.

The owner sold the car on ebay and bought a new SVX, but as far as he knew the people that bought the Laguna planned to restore it (every panel on the car was dented to some extent, but it still drove perfect and would be a reasonable project for someone with body know-how to take on).

It's been like 5 or 6 years and we've never heard anything about it, not that we would. Always wondered whether the new owners followed through with their restoration promise, or gave up, or maybe still intend to work on it "someday".

At any rate, for some reason Laguna Blues are pretty rare, especially around here. So the fact that there is one sitting at a residence, same color, same dents (the right rear quarter was the largest damage on the car-chase SVX, as that is where the would-be vigilante in the SUV tried to ram the car thief into stopping halfway through the chase).

I'm probably looking too much into the coicidence though. Sounds like this car just recently popped up at the location and you make it sound like it's parked in breakdown mode, not just in a residential parking spot.

Hey you local guys need to check out the Dabob Seafood thread, drop in for the day Saturday. Not that far from Everett/Lynnwood (Edmonds Ferry, then about 1 hour drive on the other side). Good chance to meet everyone and their cars in a chill out setting.

I didn't know the SVX came in a laguna blue.............

My SVX is a 3 year interm car for me... my next one will be a 2004 BMW M3 convertible SMG in Laguna Seca Blue....

I'm interested in seeing what an SVX would look like in LSB...

Now I have to hunt....
