Lets talk about a Blower.

I think it would be funny to put a huge blower on a supercharged SVX. Anyone actually toy with this idea? I know, expensive and how it would look on the car would definitely stop people from doing it. But just for hypothetical talkin'. Sort of off topic on topic on this board

Been done... (look at signature and try the search button) While my whipple is not a HUGE blower it is a good size for our displacement...

Re: Lets talk about a Blower.

Getting off topic in my own thread, are there supercharger kits anywhere? I'd rather build my own, but I've got little experience with boosted engines and the cost is a bit rich for my blood considering I'd want to rebuild the whole engine. But where would I go about looking for superchargers?

Re: Lets talk about a Blower.

It'd have to be cheap. And I mean cheaper than what number you've probably got in mind.

Itd be cheaper than what you would spend on doing your own...

I can sell new Jet Tech T-5 superchargers for $1850.00 plus $65.00 shipping in the lower 48.
Did you see mine at Reading?

Re: Lets talk about a Blower.

I wasn't at reading, and I haven't looked at the pictures. But your price is super reasonable. Unfortunately I'm not in that financial position.
