Thanks for that. Turns out the grey one was offered as an optional colour in Japan *but not in Australia - so the mystery remains as to how they got here*

Anyways, Paddlesnz said that the VIN code pertains to a May 1996 car....what it is doing on a 1992 car is anyones guess!

What did you mean by "strange looking wood"???

Perhaps a JDM option???

The wood looked more speckled / blotchy than the side of a tree.
