Fuse box- door latch solenoid
Found fuse box near battery under hood, is there another? FSM does not give info on locations. Says #13 fuse controls power door locks. Drivers door stays locked, had to force key to unlock to open door then goes right back to locked position. Pulled door panel off and lock linkages look good. Looks like a solenoid might be causing the problem. Thanks

Re: Fuse box- door latch solenoid
Found fuse panel on drivers side kick panel, fuse is good. Power door lock switch on drivers door armrest does not activate either door lock. Passenger door is not locked and locks- unlocks with key or manually.

Re: Fuse box- door latch solenoid
The interior fuse box you are looking for is on the driver's side lower kick panel adjacent to door (forward of it), sail shaped with piece of plastic that joins door sill. Has plastic buttons that pop/slide into holders..also contains the probes and connectors needed to download your CEL codes.\

Re: Fuse box- door latch solenoid
Check Power Window Relay On bracket, under driver’s
seat. Power window "circuit breaker" also near there according to Service Manual diagram. Last edited by fasteract7; 01-03-2016 at 08:16 AM. |

Re: Fuse box- door latch solenoid
since neither door lock work and if fuse 13 is good i would check the door lock timer ,connector b89 r/s kick panel top corner
do you have a working security system ? also has effect on locks |

Re: Fuse box- door latch solenoid
Security system seems to be de-activated, came with one remote that is dead. Took latch assembly out of door and ended up breaking the plastic rod(by accident) that pushes against the lock. Crude but effective. Realized the button on armrest was for power window locks and not door locks. The drivers window would only go half way down, adjustment bolts on bottom of regulator were missing there nuts, cables are frayed, put window all the way up for now and disconnected wire harness. Thinking I need a buyer!

Re: Fuse box- door latch solenoid
Ya the 92 SVX did not get a dedicated power lock button, they did add one in 93, its in the console next to the shifter. For the 92 pushing up on the drivers door lock caused the passenger lock to also unlock, and visa versa.
