VISA rant!!

Has anyone been stung by the latest credit card extortion?? Where they can put you at the default interest rate evn if you never paid them late? They SAY that if you are late on ONE card or payment, that you are a risk. (even if the one payment was late due to the mail or ANYTHING!)

I 'disputed' a charge on my visa, and was told to try to deal with the merchant. I was further instructed to wait 2 billing cycles to 'see' if they had refunded the money. THEN, I was told to contact the credit union that ISSUED the card. I called back and was told that " the computers are down, and we can't get any info.".....

Can you GUESS what happened NEXT?!? I was TOLD that I had " WAITED too LONG" to file the dispute and there was NOTHING they could do!!!!

I am sending a check for $450., with EXTORTION and YOU SUCK on the memo, and including the name of my lawyer and the cut up card!

I just sent a "You suck" e-mail to corperate.

I recently rolled all of my IRAs into one provider that allows me to borrow against it, "at any time, for any reason", and borrowed enough to pay OFF my credit card debt and BUY Steves Subaru. I am paying MYSELF 3% interest!

YOUNG guys, TAKE NOTE!!! Get into a GOOD IRA while you are YOUNG!!

It will make a WORLD of difference in your later years.

Then, you TOO, can tell visa that they SUCK!!!!

I'm sorry!, I should have said Individual Retirement Accounts!

I forgot that not all of our members are from this country!

HOWEVER, if they keep screwing us, we MIGHT have to call on YOUR guys! I came up with 4 good phrases that might fit, but they mmight bring the CIA into my world to ask me what I meant! ( Central Intelligence Agency) I think that the second word in that name is a metaphore, since I have seen so little 'intelligence' in anything involving guv-ment..

If they wanted to investigate home-grown terrorisim they would be kicking the BANKERS and INSURANCE companies!

I have a visa rant every month when I get the bill. This month I went through the roof to the tune of over $3500. But I think that I have it under control now. I've taken the cards away from my wife.

FFFFFFFFFFFF THEM ALL! I was audited by the IRS and one call to my lawyer made them send me an apology letter just four days later, but the credit card companies are just plain EVIL. Yesterday I had my bank account labeled as 'compromised' and closed because of creditor billing abuse. I paid off my student loan and they are still taking money from my account while refusing to provide me with the documents showing that I paid them off even though I have a confirmation number and date when I paid my last payment. I am boiling hot here and hope they meet their maker w/ unpleasant results.

I actually got a response from my " YOU SUCK" letter I sent to corporate! They are blaming the 'provider' of the card. I tamed down my true feelings and told them to work it out by New Years day, and figure out WHO OWES my $450. plus 11% interest for 10 months! (since the provider blamed corporate for the time limit). We will seeee.

I awaite with beer'd breath for the answer....

PS I have a 'special place' that I store all e-mails so I can put one against the other. ( in court if necessary)

We have them here too, except we call them PPS for Personal Pension Schemes.

I think you're right about the Intelligence bit. They have a weird grasp of English anyhow that somehow decries the intelligence word.

Here in Ireland [we're very neutral now since we stopped blowing each other up] there is left wing backlash about NOT searching CIA flights on route to Guantanamo via Shannon with orange clad militia prisoners on board. They call these flights Extraordinary Rendition.

My idea of extraordinary rendition is when somebody gets up at a wedding and sings "My Way" in Hebrew or Urdu or something
