2001 4EAT question...
I've got the chance to pick up a parts Forester for cheap.
It's a 2.5 with a 4EAT in it, the motor is most likely fubarred, as the right timing sprocket is shattered, but the tranny and rear diff are fine... So I'm asking it a 2001 4EAT will work in a SVX, or other earlier Legacy/Impreza car. I know they are a little different, as it has the screw on filter on it, but I doubt Subaru would have really changed anything major on it, and I'm figureing it would most likey be a plug and play set up... Just wondering if anybody has installed one. I need to know by next week, if I want to get it.
