Sorry, lost a bit of steam when I found out no one was going to be able to or want to make it. The import race at the track is still on and I am still planning to attend/win. My roomate holds last years championship . Gates open at 3pm. There is show -n- shine, stereo wars, 1/4 mile braket as well as 1/4 grudge/drag racing, and the womens swimsuit competition. If there is still interest, I will post directions to the track and such. If there is going to be a few SVXs, I will set a meet point in Boise and we will all convoy out there together.

Great small, tiny, mini-meet
Well, it was a great mini, mini-meet. There was a grand total of TWO SVX’s. But it was a blast. As the administrator, I finally met in person a second forums member. Uncamitzi came up to Boise from Salt Lake City. He joined me at the track for Firebird’s second annual Import Shootout. It was an honor to have Uncamitzi there and witness me AND my SVX school all the other imports out there. It was BAD! There was soooooo much rice out there it was like a truckload of Uncle Bens rice was spilled along the track. If you haven’t figured it out, I took track championship. I sent home Neon SRT-4’s, Mazda RX7’s, lots of DSM’s, and a few Nissan’s. It was great! I hope to plan another one of these in the future. I just hope I can drum up more support. I am sure it would look quite cool to have a convoy of SVX’s come into the track next year. After everyone got schooled this year, the people that witness such an influx of SVX’s and remember the previous years performance will all groan!
Hope everyone’s Fourth went well. This was the icing on the cake for me. I had to work on the 4th, but this definitely made up for it. Winners Circle photos to be posted soon
