Engine Seal Kit

Ive done a ton of searching and its people keep saying to get the seal kit from subaruparts but I have not been able to find it. Ive searched this site, and I have searched subaruparts for it but have come up empty. A part number would be super helpful.

Re: Engine Seal Kit

I have seen an itemized list some time ago. Some searching ought to turn it up.

Re: Engine Seal Kit

I will just repeat a question from another thread here:

Does this kit include ALL seals and gaskets I need to worry about? My car is up for 150k service and belt change. I thought I'd have "the rest" done at the same time.

Edit: Ok, so I tried searching

Re: Engine Seal Kit

Thanks!

It turns out the kit is about 40 dollars in savings compared to buying each thing separately

Re: Engine Seal Kit

I have heard that they sometimes don't put enough rocker cover washers. Make sure to count them before you get started.

It is the Rock Auto kits that sometimes didn't come with enough washer grommets. It is also only if you click on the grommets individually on subaruparts.com that it will come up with a 16 qty instead of the 20 needed.

It's a lot more savings than that. Just valve cover gaskets and grommets and the head gaskets run $200 alone.

Fair enough. I always order from Jackie at Annapolis Subaru. Last reseal I picked up for just under $250 shipped.

It is definitely worth the savings.
