car stalls out after trans line breaks

Well my girlfriend was driving the pearly home and I noticed a fluid trail. Pulled it into the garage and toticed a hole in the hard line that goes to the rear housing of the trans. Put a new hard line in and the car just starts then a couple seconds later it dies. So I think MAF sensor so I unplugged it and it ran without stalling. I'm guessing the MAF is bad so I take the one out of my gar and put it in hers and it still dies when its plugged in. Note this just happened out of no where. Not getting any codes either. Can it be drivin without the maf plugged in until i find the problem? What could cause this? Thanks

Vacuum lines? also check grounds.

Vaccuum lines are good and all grounds are good.

Did either O2 sensor get flooded with oil?

Cam sensor is possible. My FL claret would do the same thing and that turned out to be the culprit. Something easy enough to swap from your red.

Well after scratching my head and checking multiple things I found out why it's stalling but it's odd that it just did it out of no where. It was the air filter I said what the hell and removed it and plugged the maf in and to my surprise it started right up and idles real nice. So bought a new filter and all is good.
