Re: Coolest cars I see are at....

Funny - my wife, whose auto enthusiasm mostly stops dead at her adored Forester, is also a fan of Top Gear (BBC). She actually doesn't like when I watch episodes without her, as I probably won't watch them twice and she won't likely watch them without me, so it's as if she's missing them!

I've heard things about the American Top Gear. It's kind of like TPIR without Bob Barker... It seems like it might be a bad idea, so I'm saving myself from seeing it.

To topic - there's a fella around the bend from here who drives his Infiniti Whatever when he's not driving his flat light green real-deal HUMVEE or black Testarossa. Interesting driveway.

yeah same with my gf...she loves my car and blue cars thats about all she cares about but shes trying to learn

i sat in a testarossa when i was a little kid i thought it was the coolest thing ever to happen...the guy drove me around the parking lot and i have wanted one ever since

oh and American top gear is actually not that bad...it kind of reminds me of the first episodes of top gear UK...when they were first getting to know each other i have a feeling the second season will be pretty awesome

Re: Coolest cars I see are at....

Viper. A guy was a the car show 3 weeks a go with one . He bought it in AZ. I said WoW. He said WOW what ? It is made up of all rusty truck parts . The only cool part is the looks and the interior. That was the guy who just bought it USED. Came with the $10,000 wheels and tires but no optional windshield wipers.

Hold up... is this a drunk post or a troll post?

I apologize on behalf of the Viper for its resistance to drowning in scoops, ducts, and erector set/park bench spoilerage.

Re: Coolest cars I see are at....

I used to admire the Viper until it sunk in that it is a Chrysler product and it's just a brute force car - large engine and super wide tires. I'm more impressed with the Lotus Elise/Exige.

Drove one a few years ago, later model one... a rattling heap of metal and plastic. Super powerful engine, but who cares if the rest of the car is junk.

Corvette, for American engineering, is the tops.
