Just killed my facebook account

I am about ready to KILL my computer. I have 2 active sites left before I am computer free.
I had a guy that I KNOW has not had a job for 15 years bashing my wife on facebook. When I defended her, I got bashed!
I deleted my account. I KNOW that he spends all his time playing games while I work and worry about how I'm going to pay my bills.
At this time, I am still a member here. I am a member/moderator of 1 other site and have e-mail account.
Other than that, computers SUCK!
Once I kill the other 2 places that I used to go, I will UN-PLUG this demon!!

I have been thinking about killing my Facebook account for a while now, mostly because it has just gotten pretty stale.

I actually like talking to people on there. It is nice to talk to people on a more personal level then on a car forum.

I'm with you. I have a friends list of about 500 (95% female, 50% cute), and I actually have spent a lot of time getting to know a lot of them.
Facebook itself may be pretty lame, but like anything else it can be a useful tool for expanding your social life.
Granted we don't actually spend much time on the site, we consider it sort of a "fallback medium" because not everyone uses Skype, not everyone uses forums, not everyone wants to give me their phone number.

Tell you what, gimme this guys' contact info and I'll tear'em a new one. I've gotten pretty good at that over the last few years.

One of my daughters actually CALLED me today! We talked!
I might just have to CALL my friends and family ON the PHONE!

The main reason I joined facebook was back when Andrew created the SVXWN group on there. Since then it's served me very well helping out a ton of other SVX and Subaru owners for that matter as well as selling parts and getting tabs on other SVXi to purchase. I think I've got around 300 "friends" on there, of which I think less than 50 are actually in my own state and a good chunk are even located outside North America. I've got more good friendships thanks to this site and this car than I would otherwise have. Basically because most of the people i've met in my own city will backstab ya any chance they get. I enjoy being on here as well as talking to people on there.

it'll be getting longer.... I've been in the process of getting 2 95's, just haven't had time/money to get them... I'm picking one up next week and the other a couple weeks after. The same guy owns both of them, so maybe I should just update it again now
