Question Mechanic Referral - Orange County

Hey guys...

Can anyone give me a good mechanic referral for Orange County? I recently moved down here, and need to secure a good mechanic in case something happens.

Thanks

-Wes

I take it you've kept your '97. Good on ya.

That's a bit south for me, but I've had my eye on Costa Mesa R&D ever since I stumbled on their youtube video of an EG33 engine build. They're a machine shop, not a mechanic, but I believe that they work along side an import mechanic's shop. Give 'em a call, it can't hurt, and at the very least hopefully you can get a referral. While you're there you can get a $10K sleeved EG33 dropped in and let us all know how it does.

I've taken my car to Doug's Legacy Automotive in the San Fernando valley. It's a long way from you, but I've referred another SVXer there and we've both had decent experiences.

Good luck on the hunt, and let us know what you find. There's a few of us locals always searching for a better shop.

Thanks K Dub, I'll take a look...

Yeah, I ended up buying a house, and still being able to keep the SVX, so problem solved!
