Been out of the loop for a while

Ive been out of the svx modding loop for a while after finishing up school and the stressfull process of becoming a homeowner....and there was tons going on here when I left in 07-08 but now even after searching I cant seem to find out what ever came of the big interesting projects that members were working on.

What ever came of the Stage III supercharger? were the high rpm power issues ever resolved? did anyone ever get any solid dyno numbers out of it? what about all the sti brake upgrades?

I hope people havent lost interest in these wonderful cars

Lost interest? Not even in the slightest! It's just that some of us don't have that thing you need to do mods... You know.. Money..

Re: Been out of the loop for a while

It seems like I've been reading about more turbo builds lately, but also it seems as since the price on the cars has not yet begun to rise, more of the owners are the type that don't have huge budgets anyway. Which can be said about most 90's asian cars.

I think the stage3 stuff kinda fizzled out, as there was waning interest due to price.

However, there has been new development in the suspenion arena for our cars. Adjustable strut mounts, coilovers, as well as rear swaybars. Also, young tom set up some hydra-nemesis standalones for some folks but since then the "all we'll drive" shop has closed unfortuntely.

I myself have begun producing larger rear swaybars. There's actually a group buy going on right now, and still 8 spots left! Something to consider...

Re: Been out of the loop for a while

Think the automatic dimming rear view mirror with the compass mod is the biggie now!
